The Mirror That Takes Us Back...

Hello! This week for writing i had to make a narrative. Our learning goal is: use a range of written features to engage the audience.

We had a selection of stories to write. Here are the links to the stories:

Here is my narrative for this week:
The Mirror That Takes Us Back
It was the evening, just after dinner and Kate and Jess were going to their hideout in the attic. They dashed up the stairs and ran to their corner. Their attic was huge! Kate walked over to a corner and found a weird looking mirror. She called Jess over. They investigated it together. The floor had a thick layer of dust and the mirror had not one bit of dust. Not one tiny itty bitty piece of dust had landed on it. Hm, weird Jess thought to herself.

Kate had an obsession of touching stuff when she was curious. So she touched the mirror. Then she got teleported to a new world. Then Jess touched the mirror and got teleported to the same world that Kate teleported to.

Kate and Jess watch movies from the eighteen forties, and it looked like they were actually in the eighteen forties. Kate and Jess were stuck in the eighteen forties. They had to find a place to stay for the night. They tried calling their family but did they have phones in the eighteen forties? No.

The girls walked around the neighborhood and found a shop. They realized, maybe they could go back to where they teleported and see if the mirror was there. There was no mirror It started getting dark and the city didn't have many houses. The girls gathered some wood from underneath a tree and made a tree house. That house broke. They decided to stay in a barn for the night.

The next morning, the girls went to look around. After 3 hours of searching for a mirror, they found it. In a ditch. They kicked the mirror gently, at the same time and teleported back to their own world. Their parents were worried sick about them.

The End

i hope you liked my narrative. I had a limit of words, and that limit was 250 - 300 words.

I hope you liked my blog and see you next time!

Did you like my narrative?
If you had to write a narrative out of the selections, what one would it be?

Hi guys, welcome back to my blog! Today i am going to be sharing with you 'how to write a good email.'

Here is my picture about how to write a good email:
And if you cant or don't want to read that, here is what it says:

  1. The Subject
EG: If you wrote an email about netball, your subject would be hockey.
  1. The Body
EG: It’s like, ‘Hello teacher, can i please do my essay tomorrow because i will be away on Monday?’
  1. The Closing
EG: It’s like, ‘Thank you, have a great day/sleep/night/morning!’
  1. Your Signature

EG: -Your name

Remember your email is like a sandwich!!

So those were the main points and steps about how to write an email.
Thank you for reading my blog.

Do you think you can write an email to your teacher now with confidence?
Did I teach you something?
