Fun With The School Fair!!💕
This term our Project Based Learning (PBL) started with the teachers putting us into groups. In these groups we had to work collaboratively to create Jolly Jars for the school fair. In these groups we had to work collaboratively to create Jolly Jars for the school fair. This task helped us to begin exploring our PBL question for the term - How can we build community through our actions? We had to research ideas, be creative with our product, experiment with our materials and write instructions that could be followed by others.

I learnt that instructions need to make sense, be very clear and easy to read and follow.
Reflection on PBL:
For our Jolly Jar my group did flowers in a jar. I bought poppy seeds and marigold seeds and Quin bought sunflower seeds.
I contributed to my group by helping with dipping jars in nail polish and packing the jars.
Our Jolly Jar was creative because we dipped it in nail polish and water.
I learned that working with others is really tough at the beginning but it gets better and better each day. At the end it's really easy to communicate with the people in your pbl group.
How did we build community through our actions? We raised so much money during the school fair. We earned the bike track in the back field and the money we got was over $25,000!!
